Yesterday I had to go through Barcelona and it was like always with big cities: It was going a nice bicycle route into it, but the reality came immediately: huge streets along the motorway. I needed a long time to get through this city, industrial areas have been miles long and they didn't look nice. I was very glad as I saw the city limit with the coast! In wise foresight I spent the night a bit outside of Barcelona as I know of different people that this city has quite a lot of pickpockets.
